5 Things Friday - The High Street Edit
Ready for Spring? Here's my Top 20 of what's hit the high street.
Good morning all, it’s been a bit of a slow week over here after the previous one being ridiculously busy with deadlines and then a girl’s weekend in Dublin. It has taken me at least to mid-week to start to feel normal again, which was not helped at all by the less than spring like weather and more grey days than I can remember! I’ve lined up a little shopping trip this weekend to check out what’s new on the high street, ready to (hopefully) welcome some sunshine and milder weather in the next few weeks. Here’s my top 20 of what’s catching my eye so far this season.
#1 Not over leopard print or suede? This New Look jacket is the perfect combo of both!
#2 Uniqlo cashmere is always a fave and with 20% off currently it’s a good time to grab a bargain. Loads of colours on offer, but a little sunshiny buttercup yellow would be a colourful addition.
#3 I’m often asked about my reading glasses. They are from Goodlookers at a great price and with some fabulous spring colours available. The green are my new favourite pair.
#4 M&S nailing the perfect spring lightweight sweater. Love the styling with the gold jewellery and open neck and if the cream is too scary to wear, it comes in beige too.
#5 I’ve tried a few of the M&S faux jackets recently and this one is a fave. Go oversized for a luxe look.
#6 Khaite vibes but at a far less eye-watering price… this Massimo Dutti belt comes in black, but of course the brown is a favourite.
#7 I mentioned this lash serum a few weeks ago, but I can now report back that I’m impressed. Within just 2 weeks I noticed a difference in my pathetic eyelashes. My eyelashes are very short and no eyelash serum has made them incredible, but for £14.20 I’m pleased with this.
#8 One thing I love about Arket is that they bring back past season styles. This knitted jacket was a fave of mine a few years ago, so I’m very tempted by the red version, which would look amazing for spring. It works as a cardigan now and a jacket for late spring/summer.
#9 Adding a little charm is a cute way to update your bag. This M&S one is super stylish and a great price.
#10 I'm still spending lots of days in my joggers, and why not when they’re as lovely as this WAT The Brand set?
