Hello you lovely lot, I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and are now enjoying this slower downtime.

I thought now was a good time to pop in with a little style edit for paid subscribers to help you through that tricky space between Christmas and New Year - and to remind you that there are only a few days left to take advantage of 20% off an annual subscription to 5 Things Friday.

If you missed it, as a little thank you for all your support this year, and to tempt a few more of you to take the plunge and enjoy all the benefits of a paid subscription, I thought a special Christmas discount to 5 Things Friday might be appreciated. I’m offering 20% off an annual subscription, which gives you full access to the sizeable archive of fashion edits, styling ideas and travel reviews, with the occasional sprinkling of recipes and home and garden inspiration — all for just 84p a week.

We also have a wonderfully vibrant and friendly community here, which I’m incredibly proud of. If you’d like to be part of the club and have full access to everything, you can upgrade using the Christmas offer via the link below.

So, it’s officially Twixtmas, and with it comes that slightly groggy, slumpy feeling after all the festive excess. I’m definitely feeling the post-Christmas slump this morning, and could do with a bit of inspiration to get up and dressed! At this time of year, all I really want to wear are simple comfy clothes (and elastic waists!), but I still want to look a little put-together. I always find this point in the year pretty tricky. I love the build-up to Christmas, but by now I’m shattered and feeling a bit lacklustre. However, just making a bit of effort really helps my self-esteem, and gets me moving!
